I continued building my knowledge for the CompTIA Security+ certification by completing a practice test and reviewing several important security concepts. My study focused on technical, managerial, operational, and physical controls, along with preventive, detective, corrective, compensating, and directive controls. I also reviewed how these safeguards work together to protect systems, information, people, and facilities.

Another area of progress involved authentication, authorization, accounting, and non-repudiation. I studied how AAA technologies verify identities, assign permissions, and record user activity. I also strengthened my understanding of digital certificates, digital signatures, individual accountability, RADIUS, and TACACS+. Reviewing these connected concepts is helping me organize the material and recognize how it may appear in different Security+ questions.

Alongside my certification studies, I am continuing to prepare for my job search by refining my materials, researching opportunities, and identifying organizations that may value my education and experience. My Security+ preparation supports this effort by strengthening the knowledge I can bring to future positions. Each study session, completed application step, and professional contact moves me closer to earning the certification and beginning the next stage of my career.
