Today I applied for an IT Specialist systems administration position while continuing to strengthen my cybersecurity knowledge. My experience supporting computers, printers, user accounts, network connectivity, security tools, and technology operations has prepared me to pursue new information technology career opportunities. From San Diego schools and community organizations to offices, homes, and growing businesses, reliable systems administration helps people communicate, protect information, and complete their work efficiently.

My CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 studies currently include Zero Trust architecture, Public Key Infrastructure, business impact analysis, encryption, secure email, and modern web security. I am reviewing how the Control Plane makes access decisions while the Data Plane enforces them, how honeyfiles detect suspicious activity, and how PKI manages digital certificates. These concepts support safer networks, stronger identity verification, dependable business continuity, and better protection for student records, customer information, financial documents, property data, and everyday online accounts.

Artificial intelligence is also becoming an important part of cybersecurity, technical support, and systems administration. AI can help identify unusual behavior, organize security alerts, improve troubleshooting, document technical procedures, and support faster decision-making, but trained professionals must still verify results and protect privacy. By combining hands-on technology experience, cybersecurity education, Security+ preparation, and responsible AI skills, I am continuing to build momentum toward a dependable technology career that can serve organizations and communities throughout San Diego and beyond.
