I completed an application for a promising IT position in San Diego, California, carefully reviewed my resume and supporting documents, and contacted the human resources office to confirm that my application package was submitted correctly. Following up with HR helped me better understand the hiring process while reinforcing the importance of accuracy, organization, persistence, and professional communication during a competitive technology job search.
