I kicked off this morning with a 40-minute hike up Cowles Mountain—pausing halfway to take in the view and recharge. Though the photo I’m sharing today was taken on January 29, 2025, it still reflects that drive I carried with me on the trail. As I prepare for an upcoming career fair in a few weeks, this hike reminded me of the steady pace and perseverance needed not only in fitness but in cybersecurity and IT as well.
After the hike, I got to work refining my resume and building out my cover letter for targeted job applications. I also made progress on my latest project, emailtag.j03.page—a Chrome Extension that automates Gmail “+” tagging to trace spam, enhance inbox organization, and support user privacy. Future features like catchall address generation and CRM-style workflows are on the roadmap. With each step today—up the mountain and through my task list—I’m climbing closer to career goals and personal growth.
