Today I worked on building stronger application materials for my next career step in information technology. I reviewed several job announcements, compared the requirements with my education and work experience, and adjusted my resume so it better explained my background in technical support, troubleshooting, documentation, system access, user support, and cybersecurity.
This process helped me see which parts of my experience are the strongest. My school technology work shows many years of helping users, solving technical problems, supporting computers and printers, documenting procedures, and communicating with non-technical staff and students. My education and technical projects also helped show that I have continued developing skills in cybersecurity, programming, systems, and problem solving.
My next steps are to save the completed resume versions, keep copies for my records, print the application materials, and send a status update to Anthony at the Department of Rehabilitation. Today’s work helped me stay organized, honest, and focused as I continue moving toward a stable long-term information technology career. Reference code: R8Z3-AS-73-T2Phal-002-47.
