This morning, I started my day with coffee and a plan: to strengthen my skills and tackle job applications. I began by watching How to Pass Your SY0-701 Security+ Exam by Professor Messer, which reinforced my knowledge in areas like network security and risk management. After lunch with my mother, I headed to the library, determined to stay productive. Despite my preparation, I couldn’t shake a lingering sense of uncertainty—wondering if the ten jobs I planned to apply for would be the right fit or if my resume truly reflects my expertise.
Reflecting on my achievements helps ground me. Earning my Master of Science in Cybersecurity from National University in November 2023 was a proud milestone, equipping me with knowledge and skills that I’m eager to bring to the workforce. My resume highlights projects like developing an RFID hacking tool using a Raspberry Pi and Python, showcasing my ability to identify and solve vulnerabilities creatively. Today, I’ll focus on roles that align with these skills, knowing that each application brings me closer to a fulfilling career in cybersecurity.
