That older ancestral O’Neal branch should be distinguished from the later O’Neal surname carried in my closer family through a separate, non-biological stepfather path.

One more accuracy note: for the Prickett side, the strongest supported points I found are Charles Prickett (1829–1903), Adeline Amanda Holderman (1835–1918), and Byron Prickett (1857–1926) as son of Charles and Adeline.
