It’s mid-October, and my energy is locked on two things: applications and advancement.

I’ve submitted for multiple roles across San Diego and beyond — Help Desk Specialist, IT Desktop Specialist, System Administrator, Systems Engineer, and Cybersecurity Risk Analyst. The pay scales are strong, and every application is another line of progress.

This week, I’ll be checking each status and updating my tracker to see which positions move forward.

At the same time, I’m continuing my Security+ certification prep, reviewing core objectives and reinforcing the fundamentals that will open more doors in both federal and private cybersecurity.

Some days the pace feels slow, but momentum is still momentum — and each small step compounds into the bigger goal: stability, skill growth, and service.
