This morning, I started the day strong with a 33-minute jog, followed by 45 minutes on the stairmaster at EōS Gym. It was a great way to energize myself before heading to the Clairemont Library for the afternoon.
At the library, I focused on Section 3.4 of the CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 curriculum, covering power resiliency. I reviewed Professor Messer’s breakdown of key concepts such as uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), brownouts, surges, and the interaction between UPS and generator systems during power failures. This reinforced my understanding of how crucial infrastructure stability is in cybersecurity.
In between study sessions, I also applied for two cybersecurity-related roles. One was a Junior Systems Engineer position with a hybrid setup, and the other was an entry-level Security Control Tester role in IT auditing.
I’ve stayed mindful today about avoiding distractions, keeping organized notes, and maintaining momentum. With each day like this, I’m investing in my long-term career while also staying grounded through consistent fitness and reflection.
I’m committed to staying balanced in health, and learning as I move forward in 2025.
