Cybersecurity Analyst I is the job title that I’m looking at. The job benefits include a salary of $85,134.12 – $103,462.44 annually. Responsibilities include tasks such as monitoring cybersecurity policy compliance. Analysts respond to cybersecurity incidents promptly. They analyze logs for security threats. Conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests is also required. Additionally, analysts perform confidential computer-based investigations.

I believe this job aligns with my skills and education. I have a Master’s of Science in Cybersecurity. I am experienced, having worked with the school district since 2013. The job requires a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, network security, information systems, computer science, or a related field. Applicants also need two years of recent experience in information systems security, server administration, or network operations.

Security+ domains covered in this job include Incident Response (Domain 4.0). This is relevant because quick responses to security incidents are vital. Security Operations and Monitoring (Domains 1.0 and 4.0) are also included. This area is important as it identifies threats through monitoring logs. Additionally, Identity and Access Management (Domain 3.0) is critical because it secures user account and permission management.

I can tailor my resume by highlighting Intune and security experience. My direct experience configuring security with Microsoft Intune will stand out. I will also showcase my cybersecurity degree, with a GPA of 3.8. My recent Master’s degree proves my strong cybersecurity foundation. Emphasizing my incident response skills will also be important. I’ve solved complex technical issues and implemented security-focused systems. Mentioning my cybersecurity tool experience with Wireshark, Nessus, OpenVAS, and Nmap will be helpful. Including automation and deployment experience, such as secure deployments using Lanschool Tech Console, is another strength.
