A New Chapter After Lent
đ Blog Entry:
Today, I wrapped up Ordinary Mysteries, Faith, Doubt and Meaning by James Hazelwoodâmy Lenten readâand dove into Hebrew. âPilâ means elephant, âSherâ means singing, and the word âBobâ resembles two L-shaped letters with dots, pronounced âbuâ or âboh.â Iâm learning by both sight and sound.
After work, I hiked up Cowles Mountain in 30 minutes and back down. At the San Carlos Library, I watched Professor Messerâs CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 â Network Infrastructure Concepts (3.1). I learned about network segmentationâphysical and logicalâVLANs, and Software Defined Networking (SDN). SDN separates function into layers: the data (infrastructure) plane handles packet flow, the control plane manages decisions, and the application plane handles configuration via SSH, APIs, or SNMP. (Photos from my hike and Hebrew learning included!)
