Today was a productive day spent balancing fitness, learning, and job searching. After an invigorating hike up Cowles Mountain, I headed to the San Carlos Library, where I dove into a session of How to Pass Your SY0-701 Security+ Exam. The video provided insightful guidance on change management, including strategies for proposing departmental changes with the involvement of key stakeholders like customers. Inspired by the content, I took notes to reinforce my understanding and integrate these concepts into my professional toolkit.
With newfound motivation, I logged into Notion to record promising cybersecurity job opportunities. My focus today was on roles such as Cybersecurity Specialist and a few government positions. Among the highlights was an exciting IT Support Specialist/Help Desk position with the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, offering a competitive annual salary range of $60,856 to $86,416. As I plan for tomorrow, my goal is to identify seven additional opportunities and start applying to those that align with my aspirations. Ending my day on a high note, I’m looking forward to enjoying a quick snack and recharging for the tasks ahead.
