Today, I’m reflecting on the significant progress I’ve made toward my professional and personal development. This afternoon, I visited San Diego Continuing Education and enrolled in two exciting courses for the spring: Network Security Basics and Cyber Threat and Vulnerability. These courses will enhance my understanding of risk mitigation, forensic procedures, and layered security architecture, aligning with industry certifications like CompTIA Security+ and CySA+. With these skills, I’m one step closer to becoming a competitive candidate in the cybersecurity field. Additionally, I’ve scheduled an appointment with Karl, a career counselor at North City Campus, to review and refine my resume. I’m confident that Karl’s guidance will help me stand out as an exceptional IT professional.
Outside of my career goals, I’m making strides in other areas of my life. This Sunday, I plan to reconnect with nature by hiking at Tecolote Canyon after attending worship at First Lutheran Church. I’m also working with Omada to continue improving my health, and the results have been incredibly motivating. These experiences remind me that progress is about consistent effort and embracing new opportunities. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited about the journey ahead.
